Anshula took to her Instagram account to share glimpses of the festivities ahead of her big day on July 6, showing off how her family is celebrating the union. Inspired by both Punjabi and Gujarati cultures, the celebrations have been a mix of cultures and have heavily influenced the festivities and events.Anshula shared videos and photos of her extravagant mehendi outfit at the mehendi party that her sisters, Janhvi and Khushi, had planned for her. She tagged the two in her post and wrote that it had been a big surprise for her and that she was extremely happy with everything. The caption read: “@janhvikapoor and @khushikapoor planned the entire mehendi as a surprise. I knew there was a celebration – I just had no idea what they had dreamt up. Watching it all unfold, surrounded by so much love, is a memory I’ll hold onto forever.”Sonam Kapoor, best known for her work in ‘Neerja’ and ‘Khoobsurat’, also attended her cousin’s mehendi and shared photos from the event, showing off Anshula’s henna design.The videos and photos shared online showed the space was decorated head to toe with marigold garlands and extravagant traditional decor. Talking more about her outfit in the caption, she wrote that it “is inspired by the rich legacy of Patola, while beautifully incorporating her signature mirror work – bringing together two crafts that are so deeply intertwined with Gujarat’s textile heritage.”
