A package of genuine packaged drinking water contains all the product information. Thus, the manufacturer’s name, FSSAI license number, batch number, manufacturing and best-before dates, and other mandatory labelling information should be present on the product package. Legible and complete labels indicate high traceability and give an opportunity to easily track the origin of the product. Faded, inaccurate or altered labels could be signs of poor handling.
