Indian-origin YouTuber says he walks barefoot on sugar ‘every day’ at Canadian mill - internet is disgusted

An Indian-origin YouTuber in Canada has left social media users seriously grossed out after claiming he walks barefoot on loose sugar at a Canadian mill. The man, identified as Prabhdeep Singh, made the bizarre claim in a video filmed at what appears to be an industrial facility. He said he works at a sugar mill that supplies sugar across Canada and claimed he walks through the product with his bare feet every day.“I work inside a sugar mill, and I’m sure you guys love your sugar and this place provides sugar to all of Canada,” Singh said in the video. Then came the part that had people questioning what they had just heard.“Everyday I walk through the sugar one time with my feet naked just to assert my dominance,” he claimed. The clip appears to have been made in response to another viral incident involving a person who was filmed sitting at a Tim Hortons outlet with his feet up on a table.Singh referred to that incident in the video, saying he had heard people were “making a big fuss” about a Singh who was seen sleeping with his feet on a table at the Canadian coffee chain.“I’ll give you guys one better to make a fuss about,” he said before making the claim about walking barefoot on sugar. He then ended the video with a rather casual, “let him live.”That didn’t exactly help calm the reaction online. The video quickly drew attention from users who were more concerned about hygiene than the joke Singh appeared to be making. Several people tagged the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), asking the agency to look into the claims. Some viewers described the alleged act as completely unhygienic and questioned whether such behaviour could happen at a facility handling food products.Others, however, weren’t sure the video should be taken literally. A few questioned whether the clip was staged or simply made to provoke a reaction and attract views.Singh is also a content creator. His YouTube channel, which has been active since 2013, has more than 100,000 subscribers and mainly features videos about truck driving, roads and life around Canada’s transportation industry. There is no independent confirmation that Singh actually walked barefoot through sugar at a commercial facility, and the video itself doesn’t establish whether the claim was genuine or intended as shock content.Still, the clip has raised an uncomfortable question for viewers: if the claim is true, what does that mean for food safety at the facility? For now, the internet is left debating whether Singh’s bizarre confession was real, staged or simply an attempt to go viral.
