‘Married At First Sight’ star Rhi Disljenkovic has opened up about her shock split from Jeff Gobbels. The couple ended their two-year relationship in June, and Rhi has now revealed why she decided to walk away.

Speaking to Life Uncut hosts Britt Hockley and Laura Byrne, the 36-year-old admitted, “I was really unhappy.” Rhi explained that she wanted her life to move forward and hoped to become a mother. However, she felt that she and Jeff were having the same conversations about their future without making any real progress.

Rhi said, “I wanted to be a mum, I wanted my life to progress. And I found myself having the same conversations on repeat about the future.”She also said that she no longer felt Jeff wanted to build a future with her.“I was getting told the things that I wanted to hear, of course. But nothing was actually happening to move forward in our relationship and make me feel like he wanted to be there,” she claimed.Rhi said she needed reassurance but was not getting it. She added, “Sometimes loving someone is just not enough to stay.”Rhi also spoke about rumours that had affected her relationship. She said she never found concrete proof that the rumours were true, but they still made it difficult for her to feel secure.She said, “Not that I ever found out concrete that they were true. But I was always faithful in our relationship and it was really hard to get past those rumours.”

Rhi also strongly denied claims that she was the one who cheated on Jeff. “There are current rumours about me being the one that cheated on him, and that is just the biggest lie,” she said.Rhi admitted that she once felt “lucky” to be in the relationship and still remembered the good things about Jeff. She said she was “disappointed” with how their relationship ended and would have preferred an amicable breakup.
