A Kick streamer known as Binx is facing backlash after appearing to take a photo beside the wreckage of an Amazon cargo plane that crashed at Miami International Airport, killing five people. The incident happened on September 6, when the Boeing 767-300, operated by 21 Air for Amazon Prime Air, overran the runway and hit several vehicles. Five others were injured, including three who were critically hurt. The cause of the crash is still being investigated, and it is not yet clear whether those killed were inside the plane or on the ground. The BBC reported the latest details on the crash.

Hours after the crash, Binx went near the damaged aircraft while livestreaming in Miami. Footage shared online appears to show her getting close to the plane’s burnt nose and wings before posing for a photograph.At one point, Binx told a person with her to “take a picture of us”. As they moved closer to the wreckage, she was also heard repeatedly saying, “hurry, take a picture.”The scene quickly drew criticism because the crash had killed five people only hours earlier. One person reacted: “WTF. People died here. Have some respect,” while another wrote, “Film yourselves committing a felony… Darwin award.”Other comments were also harsh. One person called the act “pretty disrespectful and heartless,” while another said, “This will get her in trouble with federal authorities.”According to Need To Know, footage showed Binx crossing a barrier before reaching the wreckage. The report also said a man later confronted the group and told them they were on private property. Binx reportedly apologised and left.

The crash involved Prime Air Flight 7598, which had arrived from San Juan, Puerto Rico. The plane went beyond the runway at around 2 p.m., crossed a road and struck multiple vehicles before catching fire. More than 60 Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units responded, with around 200 emergency personnel involved in the rescue effort.Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said five people were killed and five others were injured. Three of those injured were in critical condition. She also said emergency crews reached the scene within “seconds” of the crash.The National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration are investigating what caused the plane to overrun the runway. Officials have not yet said whether weather, the landing or another factor played a role.The issue of Binx’s access to the area could also raise questions. Federal law, under 49 U.S.C. §46314, bars knowingly entering certain aircraft or airport areas in violation of security rules. The basic offence can carry up to one year in prison, while a maximum of 10 years applies in specific cases involving an intent to evade security procedures or commit a felony. It has not been established that the law applies to Binx or that she will face charges.
