What happened in Nana Patekar’s final hours

At around 4.30 am on October 8, Nana was brought to the hospital, and by 5.30 am he was pronounced dead. The Manipal Hospital doctor said that cardiac massage lasting 45 minutes to an hour could not revive him. According to the doctor, Nana had texted a friend at roughly 2.30 am to say he wasn’t feeling well. The friend, who didn’t see the message at that hour, called him later and reached his home by about 4 am, finding Nana drenched in sweat and gradually becoming unconscious. His caretaker was then dispatched to the hospital in an ambulance. Since it was a medico-legal case, a police case was filed, and his body was taken to Goa Medical College for a post-mortem.See More: Nana Patekar passes away: PM Modi hails veteran star’s contribution to Hindi and Marathi cinema
