Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath isn’t rushing down the aisle or setting up a nursery anytime soon. In fact, he’s totally fine leaving his future completely unplanned.
Speaking at the NDTV World Summit 2026, the billionaire entrepreneur got surprisingly candid about why he hesitates to commit to big milestones like marriage or having kids. When asked if his bachelor status is a permanent choice or just a temporary phase, Kamath made it clear that he simply doesn’t believe in locking down his entire life years in advance.
“Nobody knows what they want for life,” Kamath said, referencing a conversation with a spiritual speaker earlier at the event. “I don’t know what I want six months from now, let alone five years from now. And I think that’s true for all people.”
