YouTuber-turned-professional boxer Logan Paul has made numerous headlines throughout his career. But this time, the social media personality is trending for an interesting reason. According to a report by Realtor.com, he has listed one of his most infamous homes in California for $3 million.Paul, 31, who is married to Nina Agdal and shares a one-year-old daughter with her, purchased the 78-acre property in 2019. This was 50 years after it had been used as the headquarters of an LSD operation run by former Harvard professor Timothy Leary. Records show that the property is registered to a trust named for both Paul and his brother, Jake Paul.

An ‘LSD’ past

The compound was raided by federal agents in 1972, when they were reported to have found Leary producing drugs out of a teepee on the parcel.

Leary, was known as the “High Priest of LSD” and was once branded “the most dangerous man in America” by President Richard Nixon. He is understood to have produced a particular type of LSD tablet known as Orange Sunshine at the ranch, alongside his loyal followers, who were known as the Brotherhood of Eternal Love. The compound was raided by federal agents in 1972, when they were reported to have found Leary producing drugs out of a teepee on the parcel. Before Paul purchased the ranch, a previous listing had detailed the property’s fascinating history at length: “With more hippies, as they were referred to by the locals, joining the Brotherhood, this often unpredictable group would later operate vegetarian soup kitchens, oppose the Vietnam War and preach to others that the regular use of LSD would create a more sensitive human race. “Eventually, 30 or so members lived in the compound which included a ranch house, outbuildings, and teepees.”The latest listing, which is held by Bill Church of So Cal Coast Real Estate, makes no secret of the property’s unique heritage, although it neglects to include details about its LSD ties.“Fobes Ranch has a fascinating history of its own, including its association with Timothy Leary during the 1960s, adding another unique chapter to this remarkable property,” the listing states.

A lavish abode

The new listing notes it now offers four bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, suggesting it has been expanded in the time that the professional content creator has owned it.

The ranch covers 78 acres in the San Jacinto Mountains and is described as an “off-grid retreat” offering privacy and independence. Located in Mountain Centre, CA, the ranch appears to have undergone multiple upgrades during Paul’s ownership. The description notes that the YouTuber is offering “most of the furnishings, ranch vehicles and equipment with the purchase.”When Paul purchased the property, the primary residence on the parcel featured just two bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. The new listing notes it now offers four bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, suggesting it has been expanded in the time that the professional content creator has owned it.“Welcome to Fobes Ranch … a truly extraordinary piece of California mountain history,” the listing says. “Hidden in the San Jacinto Mountains in Mountain Centre, California, this remarkable 78-acre private ranch offers something increasingly rare-space, privacy, and complete independence.”Described as the ultimate “off-grid retreat,” the ranch features multiple structures across its nearly 80-acre spread. They include the main residence, a caretaker’s home, and a bunkhouse. There is also a horse barn, greenhouse, gymnasium, garages and sheds, and a 300-yard shooting range.“For the outdoor enthusiast, the possibilities are endless-horseback riding, dirt bike riding, four-wheeling, hiking, wildlife watching, ranching, or simply enjoying the peace and solitude of your own private mountain retreat,” the listing continues. The home is equipped with solar power, batteries, a propane backup tank, and a “gravity-fed water system.”And while it is located on a remote parcel 4 miles from the nearest highway, the ranch does offer a fair amount of proximity to some nearby hubs. Idyllwild is a 25-minute drive away, and the Palm Springs Airport is reachable within an hour’s drive. While it’s not thought that Paul used the property as a working ranch, the listing makes clear that it could easily serve as one.“The property features expansive, level acreage suitable for cattle grazing, a seasonally full pond, and miles of four-wheel-drive trails winding throughout the ranch,” the listing notes. While it is not immediately clear why Paul has decided to list the property, it may well be because he has chosen to focus his real estate investments in Puerto Rico, where he moved in 2021. At the time, he explained that he decided to relocate his primary residence from California to take advantage of the boxing training camps, as well as the country’s favourable taxes.“It’s getting crazy here in California, paying taxes,” he said in a February 2021 YouTube video. “In Puerto Rico you’re motivated to do more and make more money because of the implications that come with it.”Soon after he moved, the New York Post reported that Paul was living in a stunning $13 million mansion within the Ritz Carlton Reserve in Dorado Beach. However, he has recently relocated to an even grander dwelling that he proudly showed off in a September 2025 YouTube video, titled “I Bought a $32,500,000 House.”His new home, where he lives with Agdal and their daughter, features a staggering spread of amenities, including a tennis court, a home theatre, a dazzling swimming pool, and a private elevator.
