During one of her latest shows, as she performed at the casino, the singer made sure to send the audience into a fit of laughter with some self-deprecating jokes, including one comparing her and Taylor Swift’s wealth.

During the second show of her month-long residency, the singer set off into a quick joke about her and the ‘Opalite’ singer’s net worth differences when talking about whether she likes to perform live more or if she likes to perform in a studio. Commenting on the same and addressing the audience, Clarkison replied by saying, “You asked, ‘Do you like performing live or do you like performing in a studio?’ I like both. They’re very different. But I kind of want to bring that vibe. When you go see shows now — I’m not downing any shows, it’s for obvious reasons, especially when you’re traveling and touring — usually you can’t take so many musicians, right?”However, she was quick to add another comment to it, making everyone break into a fit of laughter. “Unless you’re Taylor Swift”, she mentioned with a smile on her face, making everyone laugh. She continued and said, “Congratulations, but when you’re not her, when you’re ballin’ on a budget, you get something cool like this.”In other news, the famed singer and ‘American Idol’ winner is saying goodbye to her beloved talk show after a 7 season run by the end of August. In the past, she has admitted on multiple occasions that she has chosen to step away from the show in order to focus more on her personal life and her children. The decision also came to light soon after the untimely passing of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock. She confirmed the news earlier this year in February. While she is stopping her run as a reality TV show host, the singer will continue to remain active in the music industry and will also continue to serve as one of the judges for ‘The Voice.’
